We're Way Beyond the "Pardon Our Dust" Stage!

Almost half of our nonfiction section is in boxes.  Imagine yourself living out of a pile of suitcases day after day and you'll begin to know how we feel!  Thank you all for your patience as we work through our expansion.  And how dedicated is our staff, still filling holds from these piles?

It will be getting worse before it gets better, but when "better" gets here, I think you'll love it.  There will be a few times in the next couple of months when we will close to facilitate the expansion; for example, we won't be open when the driveway, parking lots, and curbing are being done, when we move our circulation area into the addition, nor during a short renovation period when all of our books will be unavailable.  We will keep any closings to a minimum, and ask for your continued patience during this time.  Dates when we'll be closed will be announced as soon as we know them.

Sodus Writers Group Forming

From David Englert:  "Are you still struggling to get your stories straight?  Do you need encouragement and an incentive to commit your thoughts to paper?  Do you want to meet others in the same boat?  Come join the Sodus Writers Group!  We'll be meeting at the Sodus Community Library the first Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m."  I hope you can join us starting this Thursday, April 4th!
