Springtime in Wayne County!

From our Digital Archive of local newspapers:

"There is no place on earth as delightful as Wayne county--in springtime.
Local chamber of commerces may sing the praises of Florida and California, poets may exult over the South Sea Islands, Tempe and the vales of Arcady--Wayne county excels them all--in springtime.
Travel to Timbuctoo, to exotic lands east or west, of all the lands on earth--in springtime Wayne is best."

~Quoted from the Newark Courier-Gazette on page 6 in the June 5, 1947 issue of The Record.
