Family Fun Literacy Night

Literacy Volunteers of Wayne County is sponsoring a fun series to be held at our library on three consecutive Wednesdays, starting May 18th. We'll have activities for you and your children (or grandchildren) from birth up to 5 years of age, and refreshments will be served. Literacy Volunteers has received a grant for this series, and each child you bring will receive a free book. Each night is a stand-alone program, so come to one or come to all; reservations are not necessary. Be there when the fun starts at 6:30 p.m!

Does your family spend every evening in front of the television? National TV Turnoff Week is the perfect time for our families to enjoy other pastimes together: get out a board game, make a craft, go for a walk, play a sport, volunteer, take advantage of this week's activities at school, put together a puzzle, or - my favorite, of course - visit your library!
