The Library Board of Trustees will have their regular monthly  Board meeting on Thursday, Sept. 12th at 4:00PM in the Ruth Mills Room.  Board meetings are open to the public.

Books Sandwiched In! September 17th

We are open!

The library is open! Thank you for your patience during our short closing.  Many items that were left in the book drop were unable to be checked in until September 2nd.  If you received a message that something you returned is overdue, it is likely due to that lapse.  Feel free to call and we can check your account for you. 

August Board Meeting

The Board of Trustees will hold their monthly meeting on Thursday, August 8th at 4:00 in the Ruth Mills Room.  

The Sodus Community Library will be closed from Sunday, August 18^th- September 2^nd.  

*During these 2 weeks, we will have a crew working on roof insulation to help correct our recurring ice issues at the back main entrance.  While this is being completed, we will also be updating some of our older flooring and updating some rooms with a fresh coat of paint. 

*  During our closing, there will be no access to library materials other than OWWL2Go downloads and our new Hoopla service.

*  You can still place holds on items, but you will need to choose another library for pick up if you need that item during our 2 week closing.

*  There will be limited access to our book drop so please hold onto Sodus items until we reopen.  * *  There won’t be fines for days we aren’t open.  We can correct any issues that may occur when we reopen.   

·    * If you have items out from other libraries, please return those to a neighboring library and they will be returned to their home library.   

·    * We hope to reopen on September 3^rd. We will post updates on facebook and our website if anything changes.

·    *Thank you for your patience and enjoy your Labor Day Weekend!  

Annual Board Meeting and July Board Meeting

The Library Board of Trustees will have their Annual Meeting followed by the regular monthly  Board meeting on Thursday, July 11^th at 4:00PM in the Community Room.  Board meetings are open to the public.

The library will be closed on Thursday, July 4th for Independence Day!

Closed for Father's Day!

The library will be closed on Sunday, June 16th for Father's Day!

Trustee Election

Our Trustee Election will be Wednesday, June 5th from 12-8 at the library.  Bill Lesniak and Barb Lucieer are running for our 2 open Board seats.  There is no budget vote this year since the tax levy will remain the same as this past year.
