Summer Reading Finale

Has your family made plans to attend our Catch the Reading Bug finale tomorrow? Bring your sandwiches to the Library at noon; we're supplying the beverages, pretzels, and dessert. We'll also be sidewalk-chalking bugs onto our front sidewalk.

At 1 p.m., Lindsay Kuhn, from Smoke Ridge Organics in Bloomfield, will be sharing her butterfly knowledge with us, taking time to answer any questions we have about our Summer butterfly project, and allowing some "hands-on" time. Lindsay's program, which is supported in part by Federal Library Services and Technology Act funds, awarded to the New York State Library by the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services, will end with our much-awaited butterfly release. Talk about a photo op!

The weather man is predicting a beautiful day, and I guarantee it will be a great experience for all ages. See you there!
