Freebies For Your eReader

I know that several of you have received eReaders for Christmas (some even purchased their own when Santa failed to deliver). Click on the owl with headphones in the right column to access our downloadable OWWL2go ebooks. You can check out up to three at a time, and new, in-demand titles are being added weekly. If you need help, just stop by and we'll get you started.

Our friends Beth at Geneva Public Library, Lynne at Victor Free Library, and Ellen at Pioneer Library System have compiled a list of some of the additional sites where free ebooks - most out of copyright - are available; you can pick up a copy at our circulation desk.

Kaplan is also currently offering over 100 ebooks, including many of their test prep titles, for free download. Click here for this special offer, which is good from January 4th through the 10th.

Charge the battery, find a cozy corner, choose your favorite font size, and have fun reading a free ebook!

Daily Free EBooks for Kindle said...

Hi Carol,

Just to let you all know, regarding the free ebooks, Amazon often reduces the price for various Kindle ebooks to free.

There's websites that track what free ebooks for the Kindle are available, like http://www.daily-free-ebooks.com or kolorbooks.appspot.com . There's some that also track for the Nook as well.

Thank you for your comments. I actually own a Kindle (which I love!), and daily check several sites for reduced and free Kindle books.
