You will have the opportunity to vote on your library's budget from noon until 9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3rd. We are asking for an additional tax levy of $7,926, an increase which is less than the amount allowed under New York State's Tax Cap legislation. With this additional funding, the total tax levy for the library's next fiscal year (July 1, 2015-June 30, 2016) would equal $304,440.
Copies of the proposed budget are available at our checkout desk. In addition, the Sodus Community Library Board of Trustees will hold a public budget hearing at 7 p.m. this Thursday, May 25th.
There are no Trustee openings to be voted on this year. Absentee ballots are available at the Sodus Central School District Clerk's office at 6375 Robinson Road.
