The library will close at 5 p.m. this Wednesday, November 27th, and will be closed Thursday and Friday, reopening at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 30th.

Closing for Training Session

The Library will be closed from 1-2 p.m. this Wednesday, November 20th, for staff training.  We will be joined by employees from several of our Wayne County libraries, learning how to help our patrons use the JobNow database.  JobNow offers information and templates for creating resumes and cover letters, and can even provide access to an online job coach.  We regret the inconvenience this hour-long closing might cause you, but we believe that this service will prove valuable to many of you.

All book sale leftovers are free today between 10 and 1.  Bring a bag, a box, or any other container and help yourself!

Book Sale Starts Thursday

I hope you've set aside time to visit the largest book sale we've ever had!  Because we were under construction last November, we were unable to hold our sale then and have been collecting books for two years.  This picture shows just the left side of the community room!

First day, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7th
1/2 price day, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8th
$2/bag day, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9th
