Our Sodus Historian, Sandy Hopkins, covered many interesting bits of Sodus history at Tuesday's Books-Sandwiched-In; for example:
Do you know where Centenary Road got its name?
Can you name the many camps that used to thrive in our town?
What was the name of the person shot during the bank robbery, and where is he buried?
Sandy has files on many aspects of Sodus' past, but is always looking for new information, pictures, etc. If you have any memories you'd like to share, please contact Sandy or the Library so that our history is preserved for future generations.
The next luncheon will be held at noon on Tuesday, October 21st, and will feature another excellent book review by Jean Seymour. I hope to see you there!
