"Any time of the year is a good time to snuggle up with a good book to
read. For those veteran book sale shoppers, I’m sure you’ve already
made note that November is the month the Friends of the Sodus Community
Library hold their Annual Hardcover Book Sale. Stocking up on books is a
pre- winter activity for many people, and a great way to get some extra
Christmas presents that will last a long
winter. Because we categorize and alphabetize, your shopping
experience is stress free and you can browse to your heart's content.
Our sale will be held Thursday, November 6th from 10:00 – 7:00, Friday,
November 7th from 10:00 – 4:00 and ‘Bag Day Saturday’, November 8th
from 10:00 – 3:00. We are located at 17 Maple Avenue. You may direct
any questions to 483-9292 and the staff will be more than happy to give
you answers.
Attending our book sales is a great way to support
your Library. All proceeds are used to purchase items not included in
the annual Library budget. The Friends Book Sale fundraiser is a
win-win situation; you are able to benefit from great bargains and the
Library is able to provide ‘Wish List’ items, many for public use.
