The Friends of the Sodus
Community Library are offering "Simply Cookies" for this year's
Holiday Bake Sale. Starting on Thursday, December 14th, they'll be
selling all kinds of cookies wrapped, decorated, and ready to give to that
special friend, favorite teacher, or even yourself!
If you'd like to donate, just
get out the cookie sheets and your favorite recipe; we'll accept any variety of
cookies (but no other type of baked goods). You can decorate them for
gift giving, or we can do that for you. Your cookies do need to be wrapped and
the ingredients listed, please. Donations can be dropped off on
Wednesday, December 13th between 10 and 8. The public will be able to buy
your confections on Thursday, December 14th from 10 to 7, Friday, December
15th from 10 to 4, and Saturday, December 16th from 10 to 4.
New this year, to help you with
your Christmas gift giving, will be a drawing for baskets full of wondrous
things. There will be many choices, from a family basket filled with
games and snacks, to a winter fun basket featuring a gift certificate for Brantling and a
fleece throw to warm you up afterwards. Come in and see all
the fabulous things you can win during the Holiday Bake Sale; you will
not need to be present at the time of the drawing. Thank you for supporting our Friends!
