Hi Everyone-
I wanted to give you a quick update on the library reopening since many of you have been wondering when that will be. Libraries are not on the Governor's list of essential businesses during a pandemic, so our library staff is unable to work in the building to provide services. As soon as the Governor allows libraries to reopen according to his plan, we will work with the entire library system to coordinate a reopening date. Due dates have automatically been extended through June 30th so you won't need to worry about renewing any physical items that you currently have checked out. We ask that you hold any items that you currently have checked out and hold any book donations at this time.
Our library staff is still available remotely and would be happy to assist you with electronic services such as owwl2go, Libby and Hoopla. You can send us a message on our facebook page, leave a message on our answering machine, or e-mail me directly with questions. There are also several resources on our website that are available for use from your home: www.soduslibrary.org
Remember that our wifi is available outside the building any can be accessed at any time without a password. Thanks for your continued patience and know that the entire staff is looking forward to seeing all of you soon!
